Ascent has entered the UK and Irish professional indemnity and directors and officers markets following the recruitment of three specialists.
Ascent Underwriting, the Managing General Agent (MGA) specialising in emerging and professional risks, has entered the UK and Irish professional indemnity and directors and officers markets following the recruitment of three specialists.
The new broker-only products will enhance Ascent’s current range of cyber, emerging and professional risk policies.
Lindsay Noble, previously Underwriting Director of Lime Underwriting, has joined as Underwriting Manager of UK professional lines. Prior to Lime, Noble was Regional Underwriting Manager-Professional and Financial Risks at Novae Insurance. She will be supported by UK professional liability underwriter Felix Cofie who previously held the same position at Catlin.
Jonathan Morgan, formerly Managing Director at Lime Underwriting, has also been appointed as Ascent’s UK Business Development Manager.
The new team will focus on developing Ascent’s UK financial lines portfolio within the regional and London markets. This includes offering renewal terms to Lime’s previous clients following its decision to stop writing these products. Other UK and Ireland products are also currently in development.
